'Killing Eve' is one of last year's fan-favorite series. Star Sandra Oh notably won a Golden Globe for her performance in the dark comedy earlier this month. UpRoxx reports that the series, which follows an assassin, is about to get darker.
The executive producer and head writer of the BBC America series, Emerald Fennell, told Entertainment Weekly that the second season will get darker, more mysterious, and more tense. Fennell said the end of season one ?really made an impact on both of our protagonists." She explained, ?It?s a constant tension for her between what she?ll choose. She doesn?t know. I don?t think any of us will know for a long time.? 'Killing Eve' returns on April 17.
