?The Handmaid?s Tale? is adding two new characters to their upcoming third season. Christopher Meloni will be cast as Commander Winslow who then will host the Waterfords. And Elizabeth Reaser will be Mrs. Winslow, who will becomes a friend to Serena Joy. Both roles are not based on any characters from Margaret Atwood?s novel, for which the series is based on. According to SFGate, Atwood will be a co-executive producer for Season 3.
