According to SFGate.com, Former Pixar director Lee Unkrich has recently released a letter detailing his reasons behind leaving the animation giant after 25 years. The letter was addressed to Unkrich's former colleagues at the studio. He said, ?It is impossible for me to adequately express how epic this twenty-five year journey has been, and how much it has meant to work alongside such fantastic people and phenomenal talents,? Unkrich emphasized that he was leaving the animation studio to spend more time with his family while pursuing ?interests that have long been back-burnered." Unkrich, dedicated his directorial talents to Toy Story 3 and Coco, He was also a longtime editor at Pixar, with work dating back to the first ?Toy Story? film.
