Talk show host Wendy Williams may be famous for gossiping, but in this instance she wants privacy.
According to Channel24, Wendy is taking a break from her talk show to focus on her health.The 54-year-old is getting treatment for Graves' disease, and some of her treatment requires that she be hospitalized.
She is also healing after a mid December shoulder fracture.
The Wendy Show published a statement on their Instagram page, saying that Wendy's absence is indefinite for now.
In addition to showing repeat episodes, on January 28 they will also have a rotating daily panel of substitute hosts who will dive into various topics, like The View and The Talk.
The statement included, "Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians... Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break."
