Disney is has more live-action adaptations up its sleeve. Comicbook.com reports that the studio is planning to give 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' the next live-action treatment. According to Deadline, Disney has hired Tony-winning playwright David Henry Hwang to write the script, which is based on the Victor Hugo novel. Disney veterans Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz are handling the music, and Frozen's Josh Gad will serve as producer. Rumors are afloat that Gad may be in considerations to play the lead character of Quasimodo, but Disney has not yet confirmed or denied any casting information.
