According to a report by SFGate, Jason Reitman has co-writeen a screenplay with Gil Kenan and is slated to direct a new 'Ghostbusters' movie set in the universe of the iconic original films. Reitman?s father, Ivan Reitman, who directed and produced the original 1984 film, is set to produce the upcoming sequel. The installment is reportedly scheduled to go into production this summer and will be released summer 2020.
