The ?Mission Impossible? franchise continues to gain popularity with Tom Cruise starring as the protagonist. According to Comicbook.com, director Christopher McQuarrie is reported to direct the next two sequels. But it?s possible that these next two films may be the last that Cruise does with the franchise. It was reported that the following installment had to be broken into two films and would be released back to back. This move could be an indication that the film was too big for just one film and could be Cruise?s sendoff.
