The Mission: Impossible franchise is getting a major update for its next 2 films!
Comicbook.com reports Christopher McQuarrie will write and direct the 7th and 8th installments...
...and these films will be shot back to back, much like 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame'.
McQuarrie worked on the previous M.I. film, which was well received by fans and critics.
The films will debut in the summers of 2021 and 2022.
