Oprah Winfrey will interview former Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke at an event in New York City. According to Business Insider, this is increasing speculation about a potential 2020 presidential run by the former Texas Senate candidate. The event will be broadcast on the Oprah Winfrey Network and also posted to her podcast, "Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations." During former President Barack Obama's initial 2008 presidential campaign, Winfrey played a pivotal role. O'Rourke has been mulling a presidential bid since losing his Senate race against Republican incumbent Ted Cruz in the November midterm election.
