VIDEO : NYPD Closes Mario Batali Investigations With No Charges

The New York Police Department has closed its investigations into sexual misconduct allegations against celebrity chef Mario Batali and did not file charges. CNN reports the New York Police Department's Special Victims Division was not able to find probable cause in either of the two cases, and only one was within the statute of limitations. Allegations against Batali were first made public in December 2017, after the restaurant news website Eater reported four accounts of women who claimed that Batali "touched them inappropriately in a pattern of behavior that appears to span at least two decades."
