'First Man' is the Neil Armstrong bio-pic.
It was expected to be a massive success. The movie was also meant to sweep the Oscars.
It failed to be a blockbuster and was virtually shut out from the Golden Globes.
One of the reasons the film failed was the controversy over the omission of Armstrong planing the American flag on the moon.
That caused critics to label the film unpatriotic and Anti-American.
However, Uproxx reviewed the movie and found that the United States flag appeared in the film almost a hundred times.
