VIDEO : Melissa McCarthy Brought 30 Ham Sandwiches To The Golden Globes

According to Business Insider, celebrities in the past have had hunger pains at the Golden Globes.
But not anymore and not on Melissa McCarthy's watch.
The actress smuggled in 30 ham and cheese sandwiches into the Golden Globes awards show, which was broadcast on Sunday night from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
Melissa explained to Variety, "I've been handing them out to everyone. Next year, I'm bringing hot dogs."
INSIDER reports that stars are often fed before the awards show taping, to avoid the sound of dishes clinging, while filming.
McCarthy's sandwiches came from Joan's on Third, which doesn't sell just typical ham and cheese sandwiches.
INSIDER adds, that they "are on the fancier side, consisting of apricot-glazed ham and brie in an artisan ciabatta roll, and costing $12.95 each."
Olivia Colman, who won a Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical film for "The Favourite," appreciated the gesture.
She spoke about McCarthy's snacks in her speech, saying "Thank you for the sandwiches, amazing."
