The Washington Post reports the case involves a Malaysian government investment fund.
The Post says DiCaprio appeared in front of a grand jury in Washington D.C. because prosecutors believe he has insight on Malaysian financier Low Taek Jho.
Low Taek Jho was charged with committing fraud against an investment fund of billions of dollars.
