VIDEO : 3 Times More Black Filmmakers Directed Top Films In 2018

According to The Wrap, more black filmmakers dominated the box office in 2018.
This includes directors like Ryan Coogler (?Black Panther?), Spike Lee (?BlackKklansman?) and Antoine Fuqua (?Equalizer 2?).
A new USC Annenberg study says that black filmmakers directed 16 of the top 100 movies at the box office in 2018, which is nearly three times as many as 2017 and double the amount achieved a decade ago.
