Kevin Nash posted a heartfelt message saying; "A true professional but more important a true gentleman. You will never be forgotten".
According to ComicBook.com, Okerlund and Nash spent most of their time together in WCW in the mid-1990s.
Other wrestling stars like Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and Ric Flair sent heartfelt messages of condolence for the WWE Hall of Famer.
Gene Okerlund was 76 years-old. He is survived by his wife and two children. His cause of death has not been released.
