Extra reports that in November, Carrie shared that she was pregnant with a baby boy while hosting the 2018 CMAs. After mounting pressure from co-host Brad Paisley, asking if she were carrying a, "Johnny or June? Keith or Nicole? Garth or Trisha? Waylon or Willie?" she responds, ?Oh, my gosh ? Willie! It's a Willie!" In August Carrie shared with fans, "Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond.?
