VIDEO : Netflix Pulls 'Patriot Act' After Saudi Complaint

CNN reports Human rights groups have denounced Netflix after the streaming platform removed an episode of a comedy show in Saudi Arabia which mocked Riyadh's official explanation of the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. That episode of "Patriot Act" is no longer available inside Saudi Arabia. It remains accessible in all other regions. Netflix said: "We strongly support artistic freedom worldwide and only removed this episode in Saudi Arabia after we had received a valid legal request -- and to comply with local law." Netflix added that Saudi officials threatened it with prosecution under the Kingdom's cybercrime law.
