According to SFGate, ?Star Wars: Episode IX? is less than a year away from being released. In the new film they will show the final footage of the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. Carrie Fisher?s brother, Todd Fisher, said he and his family are ?thrilled? by how she will be sent off. Todd said director J.J. Abrams is using several minutes of unused footage Carried filmed before her death. Even after her death, Todd said Carrie will have a role as Leia in how the ?Star Wars? trilogy ends.
