Disney has finally announced who Jude Law is playing in **Captain Marvel**.
In a photo posted Thursday to Disney Movies, a caption reads: " Jude Law as Mar-Vell, the leader of Starforce.?
Law?s character was previously described without a name as a ?mentor? to Brie Larson?s Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.
**Captain Marvel** is the studio?s first female superhero to have her own standalone movie.
Samuel L. Jackson will also return as Nick Fury for the film.
