According to SFGate, staffers on ?The Apprentice? often had to ?reverse engineer? episodes. They were forced to do so because Donald Trump would?fire? contestant at random. Jonathan Braun was an editor for the first six seasons of the show and talked about dealing with Trump. On the show Trump had the ability to decide who did the worst and eliminate them from the competition. Even if they had a good performance in the challenges, editors had to find ways to highlight how they did poorly.
