ComicBook.com reports that Sam Raimi's Spider-Man suit almost made it's way into the Spider-Man comics.
Sam Raimi's version of the costume is still loved by many.
As are his trilogy of Spider-Man films.
Marvel almost put Raimi's Spidey suit on the cover of issue #549.
However, the idea to honor Raimi's suit was scrapped.
