VIDEO : 'Aquaman' Director Added One 'Scary' Sea Monster Sequence

"Aquaman" director James Wan has used his background in the horror genre to add scary sequences to the new DCEU film. Comicbook.com reports there is a scene in 'Aquaman' in which Jason Momoa's character Arthur Curry and Amber Heard's character Mera are forced to face the creatures of the Trench. Wan said, "I feel like I can get away with it because they're sea monsters, and I can have it be a flash of a scary moment in there and have fun with that, but ultimately, I didn't want to do anything depressing with it." "Aquaman" hits theaters on December 21, 2018.
