According to New York Daily News, Penny Marshall has died at the age of 75.
Marshall, the actress with the thick Bronx accent, starred on ?Laverne & Shirley? before becoming a pioneering film director.
According to Reuters, Marshall directed hits including ?Big? and ?A League of Their Own.?
On Monday, Marshall died of complications of diabetes at her home in California, according to Marshall?s publicist.
