VIDEO : 'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' Pays Homage To Anime Inspirations

According to a report by Comicbook.com, Marvel's latest animated venture Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse took a bit of inspiration from Japan's massive anime industry, and even pays homage to some recent anime titles. Eric Huang, an artist with Trinket Studios, revealed that one of the inspirations for some of Into the Spider-Verse's slickest scenes, is Land of the Lustrous, a popular anime series based on Haruko Ichikawa's manga of the same name.
