According to SF Gate, Fox's 'Miss Universe' pageant special for 2018 slipped in total viewership from last year. As a result, Fox finished last out of the Big 4 broadcasters in terms of overall audience averages on Sunday night. Nielsen reports that the Miss Universe competition drew a 1.1 rating among adults in the 18-49 age demo, which was even with the 2017 pageant. However, it was down a little bit in overall viewers, averaging 4.19 million vs. 4.46 million last year.
