VIDEO : Jason Momoa Admits That He Lied About Aquaman

Celebrity in this news:

According to Comicbook.com, back in 2014 Jason Momoa told a big fib about being cast as Aquaman and being involved in Justice League .
When asked by MTV News' Josh Horowitz if he was involved in the film the actor said that it was just a rumor and not true.
Momoa also told the interviewer that he could "punch me in the face," if he was lying.
Jason recently got a chance to see the footage of the interview, alongside fellow Aquaman stars Amber Heard and Patrick Wilson.
After laughing at the playback, the actor explained why he had to lie.
Momoa said "I was sworn to secrecy by Zack, which I did not want to upset Zack," Momoa said. He said you are not allowed to tell anyone and let me tell you...I needed to put food on the table."
Momoa apologized to Horowitz adding, "I didn't purposefully and if you hadn't asked me the question I never would've had to lie to you."
And by the way... Josh did not punch Momoa in the face.
Comicbook.com adds "We totally get it, and we wouldn't punch Momoa either."
