VIDEO : 'The Favourite' stars Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz Nominated For Same Golden Globes Category

Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are both nominated for Golden Globes for best supporting actress for their roles in "The Favourite." Usually this type of competition splits the vote, but every once in awhile one performer from the film can prevail. According to Business Insider contributor Bryn Gelbart, both women deserved their nominations but she thinks Rachel Weisz should win. Gelbart says Weisz "carries the thematic weight of the movie" and "keeps the viewer on their feet." Both actresses have received one Golden Globe in the past: Weisz for best supporting actress for "The Constant Gardener" in 2006 and Stone won for best actress in "La La Land" in 2017.
