VIDEO : 'Aquaman' Director Wanted To Reboot 'Blade'

Comicbook.com reports 'Aquaman' director James Wan, who established himself with horror films like Saw and Insidious, wanted to revive Blade!

...I think it was right after 'Conjuring' that I went into a particular studio and told them, ?Hey, I?m a big fan of Blade. Would you guys be interested in rebooting Blade?' Obviously, nothing came out of that!

Nothing came from it, as Wan didn't seem to have a unique angle for a reboot of the character.

It was just to kind of talk about it. I didn?t have a full presentation. I did have an idea, I can?t quite remember what it was...But I did like it at the time.
