VIDEO : 'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' On Track For $35 Million Opening Weekend

According to a report by Comicbook.com, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is on pace to have between a 30 and 35 million dollar opening weekend, the biggest of the month, so far. The Sony Pictures Animation film opens in the U.S. this weekend and has already been critically well-received, currently boasting a 99% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The animated film's biggest box-office competition is reportedly Universal's Mortal Engines and Clint Eastwood's The Mule from Warner Brothers.
