The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences is struggling to find a replacement host for the 2019 Oscars ceremony. According to Variety, the Academy is "freaking out" after losing Kevin Hart as a host over his insensitive and homophobic tweets. Now it looks the Academy is seriously considering an Oscars ceremony with no host at all. UpRoxx reported that the Academy scheduled an emergency meeting to reach a solution quickly. It wouldn't be the first time the Oscars went host-less.
