According to Comicbook.com, "While some audiences might dismiss the [Paddington 2] as being nothing more than a family-friendly adventure featuring a CGI bear," but the film has maintained a 100 positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes after receiving 200 reviews. It premiered in January 2018 and has been praised throughout all of 2018, but unfortunately it didn't get nominated for any awards.
