But that plan didn?t work for MoviePass?s bottom line, and it started bleeding cash and customers.
According to Gizmodo, MoviePass's new wheeze is to start with the New Year.
The latest fix for the product offers three tiers of subscriptions.
The Select Plan costs $9.99 a month. Viewers get three movies a month, with highly restricted choices.
$14.99 gets the All Access Plan. Viewers can watch any three standard, 2D movies a month.
And for $19.99, the Red Carpet Plan offers three standard 2D movies plus one Imax or 3D screening per month.
