A screening of the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly was evacuated after several anonymous gun threats were made to the venue.

Founder of the #MeToo movement Tarana Burke was present at the screening and tweeted about the incident.
According to VH1, among the women at the event speaking on their experiences was Drea Kelly, R. Kelly?s ex-wife.
Drea told Variety that she believes the threat could be connected to R. Kelly.
Now, whether he orchestrated it or not, that I cannot say. But I just do not believe in coincidences.
At the end of that day, Drea says this of herself and the other survivors: ?We are united and we?re not going anywhere.?
