Beyonce led an all-star line-up on Saturday at a tribute concert in Johannesburg, South Africa to honor Nelson Mandela. Reuters reports the event was held to mark 100 years since the birth of South Africa?s first black president. It also focused on the fights against poverty, gender inequality and hunger. Jay-Z, Usher and Ed Sheeran also performed at the concert. Major charitable donations were announced, including by
World Bank President Jim Kim who announced a $1 billion investment in health and education across Africa in 2019.
