VIDEO : Star Wars: 'Rogue One' Prequel Series Gets Showrunner

The Americans executive producer Stephen Schiff will reportedly serve as showrunner of an upcoming Star Wars live-action series.

The show takes place before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which focuses on Cassian Andor.

Deadline reports that the unnamed series has amassed writers and will star Diego Luna as the Rebel spy.

The series is set to head into production sometime next year.
