Henning Mankell?s dour Swedish detective Kurt Wallander is no stranger to live-action adaptations.
Mankell?s creation is the star of 21 books, as well as numerous films and two television series.
But according to ScreenRant, but the character's getting an unlikely new start in Netflix?s new Young Wallander series.
One TV series is Swedish, and the other is a UK series starring Kenneth Branagh.
However, the Netflix series sounds less like a prequel series and more like a reboot.
