According to a report by Comicbook.com, shooting on Star Wars: The Mandalorian is underway, and the production has most recently confirmed that actor Nick Nolte has joined the cast. The Hollywood Reporter originally reported that Nolte, best known for his roles in films like 48 Hours and Cape Fear, would join confirmed cast members Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano on the production. The series is reportedly expected to be released some time in 2019 on Disney's new streaming service, Disney plus. Comicbook.com reports the project has a rumored budget of 100 million dollars and directors like Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Taiki Waititi reportedly contributing.
