VIDEO : Stars Of 'Creed II' Don't Believe Sylvester Stallone's Done Playing Rocky

Sylvester Stallone, who's played Rocky Balboa for 42 years, declared his unofficial retirement from the franchise in an Instagram post published Thursday. In the post, Stallone said that "Creed II" was "probably" his "last rodeo." But according to comicbook.com, some of the "Creed II" stars aren't buying it. Stallone said he thought the franchise was over in 2006 but it was resurrected in 2015 by 'Black Panther' director Ryan Coogler. Coogler directed 'Creed,' which starred Michael B. Jordan as Balboa?s protégé Adonis ?Donny? Johnson Creed. Stallone says it's now up to Jordan to ?carry the mantle.?
