According to SF Gate, Tom Hanks is in early talks to play Geppetto the puppet maker, in Disney?s live-action remake of the animated Pinocchio. Paul King, known for his work on the ?Paddington? films, is directing the live action Pinocchio film. The movie will be based on the based on the script written by King, Chris Weitz and Simon Farnaby. Weitz is going to produce the film along with with Andrew Milano. Other upcoming Hanks projects include the untitled Mister Rogers film directed by Marielle Heller, a World War II movie titled, ?Greyhound? and the upcoming fourth ?Toy Story? film.
