But this year, Miles Morales was chosen for "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."

Miles Morales debuted in 2011 and had mixed reactions, leading to both Morales and Parker being Spider-Man at once!

But the studio wanted to tell Morales' story sincerely, as he seems to be a fan favorite!

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' lands in theaters on December 14th.
