According to comicbook.com, Disney's secrecy about their films extends all the way to the actors themselves.

The stars of Disney's The Lion King found out on Thanksgiving that the first trailer for the movie would be dropping in mere hours.

John Oliver, who plays Zazu in The Lion King, said that Disney was very strict about the pending trailer news.

[They said] we're going to release the trailer. Don't say anything to anyone.' And coming from Disney, that just sounds like a threat.
