According to The Huffington Post, actress Kaley Cuoco spent part of her Thanksgiving rescuing a baby seal.
The ?Big Bang Theory? star and animal lover shared on Instagram that she and her husband were at their California beach house on Thursday when she ?came across a baby seal who was obviously lost and in pain.?
She reported her finding to an animal rescue hotline, hosted by the Santa Barbara-based Channel Island Marine & Wildlife Institute.
The group said they'd send someone to help, but Kaley feared that there would be a delay because of the holiday. But her fears were squashed when volunteer rescuers showed up a few hours later.
Kaley wrote on Instagram ?They all showed up to help! My heart is full and I?m thankful these gracious people left their thanksgiving plans to help an animal in need.?
