According to a report by Comicbook.com, despite Wolverine's journey ending in 2017's Logan, star Hugh Jackman is confident that the character will return to the big screen some day. In an appearance on Sunday Today, the actor reportedly reaffirmed that while Wolverine may return some day soon, fans should not expect to see him reprise the role. Comicbook.com reports that Jackman went on to refer to the impending purchase of Fox by Disney as reason for the iconic character to be recast.
