Uproxx reports Bill Maher said something that made a lot of Marvel fans mad.

The TV host decided to trash Marvel's Stan Lee just days after his death.

The Marvel team has responded, and suffice to say, they were not pleased.

Maher said Lee?s legacy ?inspired million to, I don?t know, watch a movie, I guess,? and that adults who read comics should be reading ?big-boy books without the pictures.?

Comic books, like all literature, are storytelling devices. When written well by great creators such as Stan Lee, they make us feel, make us think and teach us lessons that hopefully make us better human beings.
