Mortensen plays Tony Vallalonga. In the movie, he play chauffeur to Dr. Don Shirley, a black jazz musician.
The two travel the segregated south together.
The film gets its title from a real book that told African Americans where they could eat and sleep in the south.
The film is getting stellar reviews. It holds an 85% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
