VIDEO : Roy Clark, Legendary Host Of 'Hee Haw' Dies At 85

CNN reports that country music legend Roy Clark has died. According to Clark's representative, the former host of the long-running TV series "Hee Haw," died Thursday of complications from pneumonia in his Tulsa, Oklahoma home. Clark made his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry at age 17. In 1969, Clark and Buck Owens were tapped to co-host "Hee Haw." The country music and comedy show aired for more than twenty years, with Clark as host or co-host its entire run. Clark is survived by his family and his wife of 61 years. A memorial celebration is planned in Tulsa in the coming days.
