Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali are starring in a new film: Green Book.
The film tells the story of anItalian-American bouncer from the Bronx, ?Tony Lip? (played by Viggo Mortensen).
He's hired to chauffeur black pianist Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) on a concert tour from Manhattan into the South in 1962.
The film's title comes from the Negro Motorist Green Book.
The Negro Motorist Green Book told African-Americans where they could safely eat and stay during segregation.
Steve Pond of The Wrap gave the film a glowing review.
