Comicbook.com reports Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee passed away this week.
And apparently, Lee left fans with the catchphrase, "Excelsior!"
But this wasn't the first catchphrase fans connected with Lee.
Lee joked that competition was appropriating his other catchphrases, like "Hang Loose", "Face Front", and "'Nuff Said".
But no one had used "Excelsior!" before, so he made it his own in 1968.
