According to Reuters, Marvel Comics' long-time publisher has died.
Stan Lee, who created or co-created numerous superhero characters and troupes, was 95-years-old.
Lee began his career in comics in the late 1930s, quickly becoming a writer, editor, and art-director.
During the 1960s, Lee created comic book series that became mythic figures in pop culture for their characters powers and personalities; by 1972 he was Marvel's publisher.
Along with Marvel artists, Lee conceived the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and the X-Men, among many others.
