However, the Russo Brothers continue to insist that they have indeed fired Ruffalo from Marvel.
On Thursday, Joe Russo appeared at at the Duello Bar in Los Angeles, which he recently opened.
Russo participated in a Q&A about Infinity War, and the upcoming Avengers 4, says Comicbook.com.
Someone asked how the team would keep the likes of Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland from spoiling Avengers 4.
Russo's bartender asked, "Didn't you fire Ruffalo?" and Russo responded, "Yes, we fired Ruffalo. Mark's fired."
Avengers 4, which will feature Mark Ruffalo reprising the role of Bruce Banner, is set to drop on May 3, 2019.
